Physical Computing Kits
We have a number of physical computing kits available to loan for primary and secondary schools in our computing hub region. Our free to loan kits are a great way to try out physical computing and engage young people in the hands-on experience of learning computing. Kits can be loaned for half a term.
We have a wide range of physical computing kits available that are suitable from KS1 - KS4. Supporting units of work can also be accessed from the Teach Computing curriculum.
- Bee-Bot (KS1)
- Data logger (KS2)
- Crumble (KS2)
- BBC micro:bit (KS2/3)
- Raspberry Pi Pico (KS3/4)
- Raspberry Pi 3B+ (KS3/4)
We also offer primary and secondary enrichment trays which could be used to support extra-curricular activity such as a computing club. Check out our guidance around how to use physical computing kit to run a computing club at your school.
