Sixth Form Internship Experience
#Inspire #Teach #Excel
Have you ever considered a teaching career? Our internships programme provides opportunities for sixth form students to 'try out' teaching and consider if it might be for you!
What does it involve?
The internship is a five year voluntary programme.
In sixth form, you will take part in workshops and classroom experience, getting insights into the reality of life as a teacher.
In each year of your degree, you will be invited back to take part in 3-5 days internship in schools, building your understanding of a career in teaching further.
All internship days will be arranged so that they don't impact on your studies, so your A Levels or degree remain your first priority.
Who is it for?
Anyone in Year 12 or 13 who is interested in finding out more about a teaching career. This is not a commitment to teaching - you just need to be curious and want to explore the professional side of teaching!
What are the benefits?
- great for UCAS
- build your confidence
- professional work experience
- excellent experience for your CV
- better understanding of a teaching career
- exceptional preparation for teacher training
- guaranteed interview for teacher training with us at the end of the programme
